If I had to choose a single game to introduce Plinko to someone who has never played it before, it would be Plinko X. This game has everything that defines Plinko for what it is—no more than that, but no less.  

Theme

Plinko X is set on a stylized, minimalist background that represents the ocean bottom. If you could choose one place to retreat to, detach yourself from the everyday hustle and bustle, and enjoy a relaxing game of Plinko, what would it be? Exactly, nothing beats the eternal calm of the deep ocean. SmartSoft made a brilliant choice. 

Graphics, Sounds and Animations

This game combines crisp graphics with a smooth soundtrack to create one of the most immersive and relaxing ambients I’ve come across. The color palette centers on shades of deep blue and purple and complements them with green, red, and orange details. It’s very pleasing to the eye, and overall, everything about Plinko X is just so soft and gentle. Even the sounds that balls make as they drop are so delicate, almost like an ASMR. 

RTP, Payout and Volatility

Plinko X is a medium volatility game with a solid RTP of 98.5%, which is pretty high even for Plinko standards. The highest-value slot has a multiplier of 1,000x, but if you hit it with a 10x ball, it elevates the total max payout to 10,000x. The only downside I could mention is the narrow range of bets, from 10 to 50. 

Gameplay

Unlike most Plinko games, Plinko X doesn’t let you choose the board size or risk level. The only two things you can choose are the number of autoplay rounds and the speed of the game, that is, to toggle the turbo mode on and off. So, it’s fairly simple: just drop the balls and enjoy their dance. 

There are three types of balls. The red one carries a base bet value, while the yellow one carries a 5x, and the burning orange one carries a 10x value. They randomly drop from what looks like a bingo cage, with the red one naturally being the most common and the burning orange one being the rarest.
