Plinko XY Game Review

Plinko XY focuses on well-known, traditional gameplay with customizable risk and board size. It leaves out elaborate visuals, but it’s in no way boring. 

Theme

Plinko XY is a fairly simple game, without any distinct theme. It’s just good old Plinko on a grey background, but quite frankly, I’m totally fine with that. 

Graphics, Sounds and Animations

The graphics are crisp and smooth but a bit old-school. It looks like some old software from the early 2000s. As far as the soundtrack is concerned, I’m not the biggest fan of it, to be honest. It’s a funky tune that reminds me of the old Sega games, but it’s a bit intense and heavy on the ears. I’d appreciate a more subtle and relaxing tune for this game. 

RTP, Payout and Volatility

Plinko XY doesn’t take its RTP lightly. It boasts a substantial 99%, which is high even by Plinko standards. Volatility depends on the risk level and board size, both of which you can adjust to your preference. Payouts depend on the same factors, and the biggest multiplier reaches 1,000x in the highest setting. 

Gameplay

The gameplay of Plinko XY is perfectly straightforward and classic. Set the risk level, choose the number of peg rows, and drop the balls. You can release them manually, one by one, or set up to 1,000 to drop automatically per spin.  

Features

There aren’t any special features in Plinko XY, but there’s one lovely addition that I think is worth mentioning. Like most Plinko games, there’s a table that lists the score of every single ball that drops, but besides showing the raw multipliers, it also displays your “profit.”  

If a ball awards less than the base bet, it shows it as a loss, highlighted in red color and with a minus. If it covers the base bet, it just displays a zero without color, but if it exceeds the base bet, it shows it as a win, highlighted in red. This gives us a clearer view of our progress in the game.
