#Office Party Introduction

Office Party

Office Party Slot Overview

Shady Lady, the audacious new game provider, is back with another bold slot game, Office Party. Don’t let the innocent title fool you – this slot quickly reveals its “naughty” side. It’s a quirky, office-themed slot machine that subtly, yet distinctly, screams NSFW. Baxter & Carlson Stationeries’ employees let loose at their office party. What they didn’t know was that everyone would be fired immediately after the party ended.

But the employees do not accept their fate and turn their manager into a piñata and beat the hell out of him! This slot game isn’t just full of quirks and laughs; it’s packed with standout features and offers a massive opportunity to mint up to 20,000x the bet. Want to know more about the RTP, volatility, and all the scandalous bonuses? Then read our full review!

Office Party Slot Review

Forget everything you thought you knew about office parties because Shady Lady’s Office Party slot is about to blow your mind! This is an office party so wild that even the most devout non-party animals will want an invitation! Office Party by Shady Lady isn’t your average slot game, and the bold design choices make it very clear. Before you chug down and decide to attend this party, read about the features, RTP, volatility, and bonus features of this slot.

Theme

There are two types of people in an office: those who don’t attend office parties and those who wait all year to let loose, say what’s really on their mind, and blame it on the alcohol. But the Office Party at Baxter & Carlson Stationery is wilder than anything you have ever seen. The party is at an office with printers, cubicles, and employees staring greedily at the piñata. One employee is holding a lamp stand and appears to be about to attack the piñata. Though there are a gazillion casino games, Shady Lady never fails to surprise. They are back with another daring slot game, and this time, the theme is the office.

Graphics, Sounds and Animations

Some of the characters and symbols, such as the stapler in the Jell-O in Office Party, bear a resemblance to those in the popular TV show “The Office”. However, the developers have yet to comment on this. The characters are cartoonish but fit the cheeky theme. The graphics are colorful at the right moment and quite aggressive at times.

Animations are really vibrant, especially when wild features trigger. You can spot a semi-naked woman with a horse’s head moving from left to right in the gameplay. Although this character isn’t part of the gameplay, it did pique my curiosity.

The soundtrack pays tribute to 80s-90s funk. Though somewhat redundant, the activity on the grid made it less bothersome. Keep an ear out: when the piñata boss is getting beaten up by the employees, you can hear some bleeped curse words. I’m not sure who’s cursing whom; any guesses?

RTP, Payout and Volatility

The default RTP of Office Party by Shady Lady is 96.51%, which aligns with the market average. However, this can change when a player chooses the booster or bonus buy option.

The maximum win in this slot game is a whopping 20,000x the bet. The high volatility makes this game not everyone’s cup of tea. I am confident that high rollers will have a blast with this one. All leading casinos have low and medium-volatility slot games if you want to check them out instead.

Gameplay

Office Party from Shady Lady features 5 reels and 4 rows with cascading reels and 1024 paylines. The payout structure is in a left-to-right pattern, and you need at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels to trigger a win. The high-paying symbols include SplashinWild, Sam Coke MD, a puking man, a drunk woman, and a man with a beer. The low-paying symbols are a stapler in Jell-o, a dice that says drink up, a mouse with troll my face, and a kick me note.

Features

Office Party online slot by Shady Lady boasts numerous features, which can be overwhelming, especially for beginners in the slot world. Continue reading to get the lowdown on what to expect from these features before playing for real money.

Splashin’ Wild

The overflowing toilet with a face that says ‘I’m Watching you’ is the splashin’ wild. This symbol can appear randomly on reels 2 to 4. If these wild features create a winning combination, you can expect more wilds on the grid.

Flashin’ Wild

The butt cheeks with ‘Wild’ stamped on it are the Flashin’ Wild; yeah, too flashy! This wild appears randomly during the base game. Once this appears, up to 4 streakers run across the screen, and each streaker places 1 to 4 wilds in random positions across the grid.

Smashin’ Wild

This feature randomly appears during the game or any cascade. Once it appears, between 1 and 4 beer bottles are positioned at random locations on the grid. The beer bottles tumble down and cover the space below with wilds. Only one beer bottle can hit a column.

Weapon Lockers and the Piñata

The weapon locker lands on the grid and hits the piñata with a random weapon (e.g. computer, cactus). You have a chance to knock the piñata’s head off with each hit and trigger the bonus. Numerous weapon lockers may land during a single spin.  Even after 100s of spins, I couldn’t do that, but good luck, y’all.

Severance Bonus

For triggering the severance bonus, you have to knock off the piñata’s head (heads up: it can be bloody gruesome). The severance bonus has four levels. At the first level, four weapons are available: the laptop, the trash can, the office chair, and the printer, each accompanied by a multiplier.

A new game layout appears during the bonus round with coin jars and weapon lockers. When a weapon locker falls on a coin jar or a stack of coin jars, it crushes the jar, and the player collects all the coins.

Even if the weapon locker misses a coin jar, it delivers a hit to the manager and boosts the weapon multiplier. Each time the manager piñata gets beaten, the game moves on to the next round. As each round passes, the lowest-class weapon is removed and won’t appear in the weapon locker. The bonus round continues until the grid is filled with coin jars.

Gimp Mode

A player can choose to activate or deactivate the gimp mode. When the gimp mode is active, the probability of a weapon hitting the head of the piñata reduces by 50%.  If you trigger the bonus in Gimp mode, all weapons will start with an x2 multiplier.

Bonus Buy and Bonus Booster

Boost your chances of triggering game features by increasing your bet amount or opt to buy your way into the bonus game.

Highlight Reels

You can opt out of the grind with highlight reels by buying a set of spins. You will receive the three highest-paying spins listed in ascending order of win size for maximum entertainment.

Loot Boxes

You can buy a loot box if you are feeling like a high roller. A loot box can reward you with one of the nine special bonuses, from good (Bronze) to even better (Silver) to the absolute best (Gold)! These special bonuses are an enhanced version of the regular bonuses and triggering the gold means huge wins are on the way.

Loot box and their offers are listed below:

  • Rare loot box: 186x the bet
  • Epic loot box: 344x the bet
