Do you want to see how impressive the graphics and gameplay of this slot are? Here is a complete video review of the slot game by Nolimit City.
Highway to Hell Slot Review
As they say, life is like a highway, with all those turns representing the difficulties you face and the long straight roads with how you deal with the problems and sail through. Well, this slot by Nolimit City is here to give you an idea about the former part of the last sentence, the difficult roads. But then, as they say, difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations; it’s true in this case, too; with engaging graphics, superb gameplay, and a max win you just can’t ignore, it is indeed beautiful to win that kind of money. In this review, you’ll get an idea about how the game works, its theme, and features, and by the end of it, you’ll be able to figure out whether this one’s for you or not.
Theme
The theme of Highway to Hell lives up to the expectations and the name of the game. I found the theme to be incredibly engaging. The theme might be able to engage anyone who loves a high-energy atmosphere with a touch of chaos in between. The theme hit just the right notes for me, and I might as well do the same for you. If it appeals to you, you can try some of the best online slots and enjoy the theme.
Graphics, Sounds and Animations
The color palette used in Highway to Hell is on point. It complements the theme very well with just the right colors used to design symbols, the reels, and the background. Nolimit City has even turned the boring basic symbols into something amazing and fierce with amazing elements added to it. The symbols like skulls, flaming tyres, and devilish characters are rendered in sharp detail, giving the game a realistic look. At times, I felt like I was in a world of video games where I was surrounded by these devilish characters, and you will also feel it spine-chilling.
The animations add a thrilling experience to the gameplay. They make every spin feel intense and alive. Each symbol bursts during wins or bonus rounds. The red-hot fire and the ice-blue borders during the animations feel electrifying and perfectly match the game’s theme too. They add contrast and intensity to the gameplay. Needless to say, Nolimit City offers one of the best graphics and animations in the industry. With Highway to Hell, they have exactly done that.
RTP, Payout and Volatility
The RTP of Highway to Hell is 96.03%, which aligns well with the industry standard. However, I have played many Nolimit City slots like Dead or Alive 2 (RTP 96.8%) or Book of Dead (RTP 96.21%), which have higher RTP in comparison to Highway to Hell.
The maximum payout is very impressive and quite high if we compare it to slots offered by other providers. A whopping 20,066x of the base bet is definitely one of the biggest reasons to try this slot.
As mentioned on the official page, the volatility of Highway to Hell is very High. This shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone, as Nolimit City is well-known in the industry for offering high-volatility games.
Gameplay
The slot has a 6-reel, 4-row layout with so many features that you’ll get tired of counting them. The game has a wide range of symbols, including regular paying symbols like skulls, guitars, and flaming tyres. There are special symbols such as Wilds, Scatters, xWays, and xSplit too.
The game is still in development mode, and hence, there is no information available on particular symbol payout. Keep an eye on this page, and I will have it covered as soon as it is officially released.
Features
Nolimit City has a lot of them in their bags, and it seems like they have Doraemon’s four-dimensional pocket; they keep releasing different features for all their games but never seem to finish. With Highway to Hell, they have done the same yet again. Here I have explained the features:
Reel Area
Here, some Enhancer Cells are locked in 4 middle reels. After winning, the symbols explode, and new symbols take their place. With every win, a new enhancer is unlocked from left to right.
Enhancer Cells
After getting unlocked, they show a new symbol. If this symbol is removed in the win, then a new symbol appears. The normal symbols from the Reel Area never fall in place of Enhancer Cells.
xSplit
This feature divides all the symbols into two sections. It doubles the symbol size and becomes wild. It can split any symbol except the scatter symbol.
Bonus Hunt
If a player places 15x the base bet, then he’ll get a bonus. Here, in this bonus, the player will get either blank symbols, scatter symbols, or Hellevator Boosters. The payout won’t be affected for any of the symbols.
Avasplit Effect
After the winning symbols explode, a few of the remaining symbols are selected randomly, and their size increases by 1. This makes the symbols more powerful.
Demon
When this symbol lands, it removes some random symbols from the reels and becomes a normal symbol whose multiplier is equal to the number of symbols removed by the demon symbol. If the spin results in a win, the Demon activates. If no symbol is removed, then it becomes a normal symbol with a 1x multiplier.
Hell Spins
Well, this seems to be the most exciting of all the features. It would take some effort from my end to explain this. Here you go!
If you get 3 Scatter or Hellevator Booster symbols, you get 8 Hell Spins. The Hellevator Booster remains on the reels during the bonus round and shows a new symbol during every spin. If that symbol is included in the win, then it is removed, and a new symbol takes its place. If Booster gets the multiplier, then the progress is saved during the round. If xNudge increases the multiplier, then it applies to only one spin. If three scatters are collected in bonus spin, then the player gets +2 extra spins, and one new Booster is added to the quota.
God Mode
If you place a bet of 3,800x the base bet, you get the chance to win the max payout. All you need is one Max Win symbol to land in the Enhancer position, and God Mode is activated for you.
