Theme

There are plenty of slot games out there, but if you play demo games with grittier themes, there’s rarely something out there that is as immersive as Hounds of Hell. The game carries a thematic influence from Dante Alighieri’s Inferno, which paints the picture of Hell as a fiery pit.

Graphics, Sounds, and Animation

We appreciated almost everything about the graphics and animations of Hounds of Hell. When the game begins, there’s an animation of an infernal flame bringing the player to the slot’s main screen. The two titular hellhounds sit on both sides of the screen and even howl whenever a bonus round with 10 free spins is triggered. This phase also introduces a newer, colder version of Hell.

The music also complements the game’s overall tone with a haunting symphony, making the playthrough more engaging by adding to its overall tension. While Hounds of Hell has all its multimedia elements in place, let’s see what it offers regarding RTP, volatility, and payouts.

• Roaring Packs of Hell – Two adjacent Hellhound multipliers on the same row result in a roaring pack. While Adding Roaring Pack delivers multipliers from 5x to 100x, the Multiplying variant makes for 3x to 20x multipliers.
• Hounds are Loose – Triggered at random, this feature replaces all the low-paying symbols with high-paying symbols from the grid. It can activate several times within a spin, thus increasing the likelihood of dropping Hellhound symbols.
