Finnegan’s Formula’s theme really caught me off guard in the best possible way. I was bracing for the typical Irish slot cliches, and instead, I experienced a breath of fresh air with the fusion of steampunk and folklore set in a highly unique environment. The animations are fluid and intentional; reel expansions, wins, and feature triggers all occur with panache but never become overly used. The sound is something else entirely. The music was lovely and ideally suited to the offbeat, mystical theme. It enhanced immersion without ever being repetitive or distracting.

RTP, Payout and Volatility

Finnegan’s Formula offers a solid RTP starting at 95.95%, which is decent for a high-volatility slot. What caught my attention, though, is how it climbs to over 97% when using the Hyper Bonus feature. That’s better than many similar games I’ve tested and adds extra value for those who prefer skipping straight to the action.

The potential for payout is high, with a maximum win of as much as 10,000x your stake. Mid-tier symbols are represented by beer mugs, pipes, and hats, with lower-value symbols being shown in gears of various colors. The K-Cash symbols were the true stars for me. Not only do they increase the height of their respective reels, but they also have cash values, which are accumulated during the bonus round.
