#Rocketman Introduction

Rocketman

Rocketman Crash Game Overview

Rocketman is among several crash games in the market that operate more or less via the same formula. I thoroughly partook in the game to answer the most important question of all: is it distinguishable from the thousands of crash games out there? Surprisingly, this 2022 crash game is still worth it, and I will go over all of its positives (and negatives) in this game review.

Pros

  • High RTP of up to 98.5%
  • Relative volatility
  • Progressive jackpot system
  • Functions on Android and iOS mobile devices

Cons

  • Short timeframe for placing bets
  • No customizable avatars

Rocketman Game Review

A crash-based gaming product can never be innovative, or at least that is essentially the conception of general players. However, Rocketman by Elbet completely defies that by introducing not only excellent game mechanics and excellent graphics quality, but several bonus features too, which are relatively rare in the world of crash games. In this in-depth review, I’ll cover everything from cashouts to bonus features in Elbet’s Rocketman.

Theme

Crash games often have themes associated with space, aviation, or even theme park rides. The primary objective is always to weave the idea of ascent and descent into gameplay. In that regard, Elbet’s Rocketman proves largely successful, as it features a rocket launch as it begins its ascent into deep space. The catch? It can blow up at any moment, and you have two bets to score a potential win.

Graphics, Sounds, and Animation

The interplay between theme and visuals with Rocketman is spot on. The game does not look remarkable in the same vein as crash games such as Limbo Rider or Aviatrix do. However, the look of the user interface was quite impressive to me, particularly because it managed to feature the gameplay, the bet records and the chat room all in view without making the screen seem too cluttered.

Rocketman’s animations are, at best, comical, which did take me out of the experience quite a few times while I was playing the game. It looks, basically, like a Flash game, which is good if you’re nostalgic about that era, but bad if you’re used to higher visual fidelity.

The sound is what captured my attention the most, because of how catchy it is. It has a lot of high and low points, which are like the experience that awaits you as you dive into Rocketman. It may not look like one of the best casino games out there, but it sure sounds like it.

RTP, Payout, and Volatility

As you approach the game with a bet, you can expect an RTP (return to player) between 96.5% to 98.5% with Rocketman. The RTP system differs significantly from Arcadem’s crash game, Rocketman (same name), which has a static return.

I appreciate how the volatility of the game is relative to your decision to take your winnings and stay between medium and high. The anticipation value with the growing multiplier always makes it seem like there are potential winnings on the horizon. This is especially a problem when winning strategies help you win across a number of rounds, so it seems as though you have more chances of winning than you do.

The bet sizes here are pretty standard. While the minimum bet that you can make is €0.1, the highest it can get is €100. Note that you can make one bet, but there is an option for dual wagers so that you can play and win while hedging against potential losses. Furthermore, the win multiplier of this game can go as high as 10,000x, which means the max win of this game is 20,000x with two bets active.

Gameplay Experience

If you play Rocketman across any gambling site and place a wager, you’d encounter a rather typical style of crash gameplay. That sets them apart from slots, since slots can employ a unique set of mechanics. The gameplay for Rocketman is extremely simple, since you have to make your bet when the game starts, and retrieve the amount won before the rocket explodes.

It’s a completely fair crash game and thus operates on a provably fair system. I appreciated the emphasis on fair gaming from Elbet, and thus tried the autoplay feature, so I didn’t have to constantly make dual bets and just had to worry about the multiplier.

Apart from placing gambles, Rocketman also allows a social gaming experience through its chat feature. For engaging with the game in more strategic depth, you can check the multiplier history. This helps players figure out when to cash out. You can spice up the game via additional features, which I’ll further discuss here.

Game Features of Rocketman

Rocketman is your average run-of-the-mill crash game, but this one feature incentivizes players to do more. It’s essentially giving the player promo credits, which they can use to make free bets.

Players can get fun credits at any point randomly, and this, at least in my experience, aided my enthusiasm for the game.

Furthermore, there’s a tournament feature, though that entirely depends on the online casino running it. Since the best online casinos in the market usually have their own tournament offerings, you can use Rocketman’s own tournament mechanics as well.
